A New Chapter for Our Jewellery School

Do you love jewellery? Do you want to learn how to make your own unique pieces?

Do you want to join a community of passionate and talented jewellers? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are in the right place!

Hello and welcome to our new website! I’m so excited to share with you some exciting news and plans for the future of our jewellery school.

As you may know, I have recently taken over the school from its previous owner, Deirdre O’Donnell, who has decided to focus on her signature course, the Full Time Certificate in Traditional Jewellery and Goldsmith Skills. This is a one-year intensive course that attracts students from all over. Deirdre will continue to run this course under a new brand name, Jewellery Skills & Design Courses, and I wish her all the best in this endeavour.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Deirdre for her dedication and passion, and for entrusting me with the rest of the school.

I have been a jewellery maker and teacher for over 10 years, and I have always loved sharing my skills and knowledge with others. I believe that jewellery making can not only be a creative and rewarding hobby or profession but also a way of expressing yourself and connecting with others.

Our courses are not only fun and educational, but also beneficial for your career development in the jewellery industry. Whether you want to start your own jewellery making business or work for an established company or studio, our courses will equip you with the skills and confidence you need to succeed. You will also have the opportunity to network with other like-minded students and tutors who share your passion for jewellery.

That’s why I’m committed to building upon the already established reputation and quality of our school, and to foster a sense of community among our students. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced jeweller, you will find here a friendly and supportive environment where you can learn new techniques, improve your existing skills, and unleash your creativity.

Our school offers a range of in-person courses that take place in our fully equipped studio in Dublin.

You can choose from courses that suit different levels, interests, and creative directions. Some of the skills and classes that we offer include:

Traditional Jewellery Skills, such as soldering, piercing, filing, polishing, stone setting, chain making, ring making, forging, engraving, wax carving, sand casting, laser welding, cold connections, textured finishing and a whole range of enameling skills.

No matter what your goals are, we are here to help you achieve them. We also welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can improve our courses and services.

I hope you will join us on this exciting journey and become part of our jewellery school community. Together, we can make beautiful things happen!
